Hello everyone.

I'm a D20 player of about 2 years now and a DM for half as long. I have gone into 3.5 D&D, 4E and Pathfinder originally because I wanted to play the Warcraft RPG about...six years ago. For some reason, the RPG just fell off my mind. It's been called the WoW RPG and apparently it's discontinued, and Blizzard sees no income from using the license or paying someone else to develop the rpg and keep it up-to-date.

I happened to fall onto this forum a few weeks ago and I was astonished at the creativity in play here. Making monsters, races and prestige classes, as well as covering racial iconics and whatnot is a commendable effort, truly.
I wish to contribute a little bit of my own, so therefore I present, as tribute, a link to a mana system I experimented with (and found quite acceptable), and Warcraft Unit bit-sprites I made in the style of Fire Emblem GBA sprites, which you will find at the end of this post.

Thank for very much for taking up the torch and keeping this game alive.

I have most all Human/Orc/Undead sprites, even buildings (though the buildings are in a different style) for my game, which I play on roll20.net.
As an example of the style and as preview, I present to you Arthas (before corruption), Thrall, the Undead Necromancer and the Orc Raider.

They can easily be printed and slapped on coins for a physical counterpart, if one finds that using electronic roleplaying to not be their cup of tea.

This is a link to the Mana system. So far, the changes I had to make were to the Brilliance Aura spell, Mana Fountain, Mana Burn, Feedback and Mana Potion mechanics (as well as anything replenishing or removing spell levels). It's a solid system, I found.

Well met and welcome. I think you'll find that only one or two of us are keeping an eye on this place. I'll recommend a similar forum here, suggested by Big Mac, which is very slightly better populated. There's also a Facebook group here. I hope those are somewhat helpful.

The sprites don't seem to be working, for what it's worth.

Thank you for the warm welcome.
This forum suits my needs perfectly; it's more focused on making homebrew classes and monsters, while the one in the Piazza is...less so.

I have found that linking the images is a problem (as providing URLs to the photo link turns up nothing), so instead I provide a link to a photobucket account I made just for this.

Hi Arrius!

Welcome to Xander 212's World of Warcraft: The Roleplaying Game forum! :-D

There have been two versions: Warcraft: The Roleplaying Game and then World of Warcraft: The Roleplaying Game. Warcraft: The RPG is closer to 3.5 D&D rules (and actually has the D&D logo on it) while WoW: RPG is a variant d20 System game.

Some of the WoW: RPG books kind of duplicate the Warcraft: RPG books, but others have different themes. So even if someone wants to go with one ruleset, they probably still want a few of books from the other line.

Looks interesting. Is this based on something within the MMO?

Xander212 is the one to thank. He set this forum up when the White Wolf forums for WoW:RPG got shut down.

I like miniatures, but I'm sure that pictures of NPCs and critters from the MMO could be printed out at the same scale.

I think that this forum and The Piazza both have their advantages.

The Piazza is good for interacting with people that like multiple campaign settings. That might help if you want to raid ideas from another campaign setting, like Scarred Lands.

The advantage of this forum, is that it can have subforums to split things up. That is not such an obvious benefit when it is quiet, but if those forums got 20-30 threads in them, they would start to be really useful to fans of those specialist areas.

I can not see them either. Maybe Yuku ate them, when they were uploaded.
